With your permission, we collect your approximate device location (GPS) when you open the App. This is used in-session only to identify nearby venues and is not stored in our database. You can revoke location access at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Bookt → Permissions.

We do not collect: payment card or UPI details (handled entirely by Razorpay), contacts, messages, SMS inbox, microphone, or browsing history.

We never use your data for advertising. Bookt is ad-free and we do not build advertising profiles or sell your personal information to any third party.
When you make a booking, the venue receives your name, phone number, booking details, and booking status so they can manage your slot. They do not receive your email or payment credentials.
For tournament registrations, the organising venue receives your team name and registration status.

¹ Cross-border data transfer: Resend Inc. and Expo Technology are US-based processors. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver transactional booking emails. Your push notification token is shared with Expo solely to deliver booking and reminder notifications. No other personal data is transferred outside India. By using Bookt, you acknowledge these limited transfers under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from Indian authorities.
Your data is stored on servers managed by Supabase Inc., hosted on AWS infrastructure in Mumbai, India (ap-south-1). We implement the following measures to protect your data:

Upon account deletion, your personal identifiers (name, email, phone number) will be anonymised within 30 days. Booking records may be retained in anonymised form for financial reporting purposes.

The Bookt App is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.
Venue staff may create walk-in booking records for players who book directly at the venue without using the App. These records contain only the booking date, time, court, and amount — they are not linked to a registered user account and contain no personal identity information. These are venue operational records.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
